A look back at the year that passed

Once again a year has passed and I thank you all for your corporation in 2009!
Time flies in a dynamic everyday-life, where many things are influenced by external factors, as such ‘The Crisis’, which we all have talked so much about.
Sadly, many lives have been influenced in a negative way by the global economical situation.
We are happy to say that at Gazcon, we have been fortunate. |

Turnover 2009 showed growth, which we owe to our success within the marine sector. Several larger marine units have passed through our production hall – it has been a fairly large, but also a very exciting challenge!
Our Nitrogen generators have been through large changes; not only are they PED approved, they are now also adjusted to maritime requirements. We have developed Eex-prof systems with stainless steel material and our performance, particularly in high-purity scale, has been improved considerably. Our complete system has been upgraded to cover a full range from 1 to 1100 Nm3/h on our standard units.

| When new-developing our product line, we are very conscious of the environmental aspects in such a system. We strive at all times to minimise our air requirements without it affecting the stability of our generators. We do not rest on the laurels, so be assured, that further research and development of course takes place continuously. |

Industry sales have also picked-up after our new industrial sales manager has secured many new contacts and orders. Networking and Channel Management will be one our main focus areas in 2010 and in this connection we will be present at several industrial exhibitions – we hope to meet you there!
In 2010, our oxygen generators will be in focus as we within very short time will attain our MDD (Medical Devise Directive) certificate. This, we believe, will open up further potential markets for us and our agents in the years to come.

Competition is increasing and we face price dumps, cheaper components and products of lower quality in our everyday-business. At Gazcon, we have hard-headedly insisted on using only original parts, and very strictly kept focus on supplying quality products only. This politic now proves to have been correct; customer evaluations are positive and claims virtually non-existing. We are very proud of this fact!
I wish you a fruitful 2010 – and I hope to see you all ‘out there’!
