Gazcon proudly accepts new orders for containerized N2 units.

The already well-known PSA modular generator system has undergone a brush-up and has been considerably optimized since it first saw the light of day. Gazcon has, in close cooperation with J. Lauritzen, further developed the containerized nitrogen production system and all aspects of the plant. It being the mechanical design, performance, operation, maintenance, user interface etc. all are now much improved – and even at reduced costs.

We are of course quite proud that we once again have been chosen as J.Lauritzen’s preferred supplier of the nitrogen generation systems. The order for four new containerised solutions to be installed on board J.Lauritzen tankers is already signed.

The new deliveries each consist of one containerized, fully equipped Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Nitrogen generator plant. The flow rates and purities are adjustable from the control system and in praxis; the flow can be adjusted by entering different opening degrees of the flow control valve. This is done through a remote or the local HMI. “The HMI has variety of features and functions”, Mr. Fog explains, “for easy access and overview of the N2 production a remote HMI and Bus communication with the Local HMI is installed in the ship’s cargo control room. The plant can be operated fully from here.”

Delivery of the containers will take place in the first half of 2009 and and the first two containers are well on the way in our production hall.
