Gazcon announces new marine division |

As a result of a rapidly growing demand within the marine industry during the last couple of years Gazcon has established a marine division which will focus on offshore customers. Gazcon is already a well-known supplier of on-site nitrogen generators to the marine industry and has delivered solutions for oil tankers, platforms and FPSOs around the world.
The new division is headed by Mr. Jakob Saugmann. Saugmann joined Gazcon in January and is in charge of world-wide sales of inert gas generators to marine customers.

On-board nitrogen solutions
Mr. Saugmann explains: “With this initiative, we have allocated resources specifically to serving the marine market and our philosophy is to deliver whatever solution our customers require”. Gazcon therefore offers both standard generators and customised generators to fit practically any requirements to flow, nitrogen purity and pressure.
The Gazcon generators are based on the idea that customers should produce their own nitrogen when they want, where they want and in the purity and quantity they need. Mr. Saugmann continues: "Space is often scarce on ships and we deliver our generators as compact as possible and skid-mounted, containerised or fully installed depending on the site. We have long experience in supplying class approved solutions to the marine industry. Our dedication to quality and safety has made us the preferred supplier to this market." |

Jakob Saugmann holds a master degree in mechanical engineering and has many years of experience from the marine and petrochemical industries.
His broad knowledge includes marine technical water treatment, marine surface treatment, engine manufacturing and petrochemicals – skills that all will come into use in his new position with Gazcon. |
